Mr. Clean Gets Flirty in First Super Bowl Spot

New spot is sure to raise some eyebrows – and mops – on gameday

As all eyes are fixated on the screen this coming Super Bowl Sunday, there’s one appearance that may make you second guess stepping away for another helping of dip.

Procter & Gamble’s Mr. Clean is making his debut during the big game with a major makeover courtesy of Leo Burnett Toronto.

The traditionally tame cleaning sensation appears in the “Cleaner of Your Dreams” spot like you’ve never seen him before, proving that there’s nothing sexier than a man who cleans, and he’s got what it takes to satisfy your needs in every room of the house.

On the creative insight behind the new work, Leo Burnett Toronto Creative Director Heather Chambers explains, “For years, women have done the majority of the cleaning. And even though today, more and more men are sharing in the responsibility, the thought of ‘there’s nothing sexier than a man who cleans’ still resonates for a lot of women.”

Consumers are invited to share a photo of the cleaner of their dreams via social media using hashtag #MrClean.

Check out the teaser and keep your eyes peeled for the full spot when it premieres during the big game on Sunday, February 5.
