Leo Burnett Singapore’s Winning Summer
The agency picks up three major accounts from Performance Motor Limited, BMW and the annual Orchard Road Christmas Light Up
Leo Burnett Singapore has great reasons to celebrate. Earlier this month, Performance Motor Limited (PML) tapped the office as its creative agency. The announcement came shortly after the agency won the BMW regional account for Asia and the 34th annual “Orchard Road Christmas Light Up” for the second year in a row.
In July, BMW Asia turned to Leo Burnett as its creative agency for the Asian market following a pitch that involved several roster competitors. The agency is responsible for adapting and localizing creative work from the company’s German headquarters. In a Mumbrella Asia article, BMW’s representatives explain that Leo Burnett’s “vast experience, industry insights and positive attitude” was exactly what they were looking for.
A couple of weeks later, Christmas came early for the agency when it learned it was remaining the creative lead for the 34th annual Orchard Road Christmas Light Up campaign. Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) selected Leo Burnett Singapore to lead the traditional multi-platform light-up display that covers Singapore’s main shopping strip every year. The agency is once again in charge of the creative concept development for outdoor designs and marketing collaterals.
In August, the Leo Burnett Singapore team claimed another victory in the automotive industry this week after being named PML’s new creative agency. Moving forward the agency will create local campaigns to support launches and special events for both PML and BMW Asia.
