Leo Burnett Chicago’s new spots for Marshalls have been released. The two spots, “Surprising Moments” and “Kid Surprises,” mark the first pieces of work for the retailer since Leo Burnett was named its agency of record in May.
While Marshalls' stores consistently deliver “surprise” for its shoppers, Leo Burnett wanted to creatively reflect that emotion in the brand work.
The integrated print, digital and social campaign brings to life the element of surprise that shoppers discover at Marshalls.“Surprising Moments” showcases the anticipation that leads up to a surprising reveal. From birthday presents to unexpected visits, the spot perfectly captures the feeling of excitement that awaits shoppers at Marshalls. “Kid Surprises” also builds up the anticipation, but instead of showing what those moments are, the viewer instead sees the expression of excitement and wonder happening in slow motion on children’s faces.
