Leo Burnett Buenos Aires Wins Best of Show at El Sol
The network garners nine awards for work from Buenos Aires, Madrid and Bogota offices
Leo Burnett Worldwide received multiple honors at this year’s El Sol Latin American Festival of Communication. Leo Burnett Buenos Aires won the festival’s Platinum Sun with “Safety Truck” for Samsung. The award is the equivalent of Best of Show. “Safety Truck” also took home the Grand Prix in innovation and garnered three different Gold Suns in the outdoor, innovation and promotion and activation categories.
Altogether Leo Burnett Worldwide received one Platinum Sun, two Grand Prix and six Gold Suns for work from Buenos Aires, Madrid, and Bogota.
Leo Burnett Madrid’s Christmas campaign for the Spanish Lottery, “Justino,” took home Grand Prix in TV/cinema and two Gold Suns in integrated and digital.
Leo Burnett Bogota also won a Gold Sun in public relations for its work “Town With No Cash/Conception,” for Daviplata, a large-scale e-money platform in Latin America.
El Sol Latin American Festival of Communication is a regional advertising awards festival presented by the Spanish Association of Advertising Agencies (AEAP).
